Heather and I like being married. We like it so much that we do something super cool every anniversary. Well...this year, it just happens that U2 is on tour and will be playing the day of our 4 year...in New York.
The only reasonable thing to do was to join their fan club, get in on their special pre-sale and snag a couple of tickets! We also found a super cheap flight on JetBlue.
What could make all of this better, you ask? Muse is opening.
This is gonna be amazing...
Cannon Beach was amazing...for some reason I didn't think it was gonna be as awesome as it was...just didn't expect a whole lot from the Oregon coast. I was wrong.
We did all sorts of random things...spent a day in Portland, went to Astoria...to the house they filmed The Goonies, went to the school they filmed Kindergarten Cop, sipped wine out of empty water bottles, bonfire, awesome clam chowder, great food...I could go on and on.
It was a good time. My wife is cool.
Yesterday was our 3 year anniversary. Today we are leaving for Portland, Oregon for two nights, then two nights in Cannon Beach...on the beach. Needless to say...I won't be hanging around these parts for a few days...
